Behold. The newest "single" release from Cynic's upcoming album of the same name. This one's much better than "The Lion's Roar". I love love LOVE the bass-playing.

The lineup is the same as on the Carbon-Based Anatomy EP, with Paul Masvidal on guitar and vocals, Sean Reinert on drums, and the one and only Sean Malone on bass.

I made a thread about this in "Bassists", yeah I agree that this is a lot better. The Lion's Roar was almost painful to be honest :p I still think Focus (and the 2 demos before it) is the best Cynic will ever do but this new album is starting showing some promise, this song is really good...and yeah Malone is the man!

    Awesome, I'm excited for this!
Traced in Air is still one of my all-time favorite records.

It's out on bandcamp! Listened to it once-through already. I like it! The production definitely sounds better than a lot of other albums I've heard.
