This is a real nice made in Korea Danelectro Longhorn short scale bass. The case is only about 6 months old. A good Thumper. Bass is in good shape there is a nick on the neck @ the 7th fret. Great deep purple color. Comes with original clear pickguard and a grey pearloid one too. $310 shipped USA.

Thinking of a couple of trades.... The Longhorn plus money on my part for Lakland Skyline DJ4, Duck Dunn or Hollow Body... If anybody wants to trade down

not sure when bass was made.... I think I was told in the 90's. But a quote from thread I bought it from "Danelectro Longhorn - Korea - deep purple metallic color - 1 nick on the neck @ 7th fret - binding and rest of bass in great shape - sounds fantastic like all the original reissues do" I hope that may help.

Yeah if its a Korean made one then its probably around 1999. I have had 2, fantastic basses and every time I sold one I regretted it and wanted another I just have to many basses. I also have never seen that color before, very cool.

I believe current ones are Chinese made and not as nice at all.
