Simply put, what is / are the difference(s) of the B3K and the B7K? Just the eq or is the voicing different? Watching videos it's hard to tell.

    Thanks!

+1 I've owned three B3K's and two B7K's I sold the B7K's because I thought the advantage of the EQ's was lost because of the extra noise they made.

I've never owned a B3K, but I've not found my B7K to be noticeably noisy?

I'm probably more sensitive than most but with the two I had anything past 11:00 on the mids or treble sounded
    Ike a bag of snakes.

    Huh. That surprises me.
I bump the lows up to about 1:00 o'clock and leave the low mids, high mids, and treble at noon and have never thought to myself that it's a noisy pedal.
Ah well. To each his own.

    This.
Medium version: They don't sound identical.

Longish Version Rebuttal: Huh? They're the same overdrive, only audible difference is the B7K has an EQ right after the drive stage. You can easily get the same tones by having an equalizer in the chain, preferably right next to it. I've got this, A/B'd it with my friend's B7K and wouldn't be very hard pressed to tell you the difference if I was blindfolded and someone switched em.

One of mine must be defective. Blindfold me an ill pick out the B7K. Louder and "hissier".
