Is there any way to figure out what year my Ampeg 810e cabinet was made? I bought it used in the early 90s. It has the old white Ampeg logo with white around the grill cloth. Is there a serial number data base?

Full details for what was said above available here http://www.unofficialampeg.com/dating.html

You could also pull a speaker and date it using the code on the speaker. Should have something like 67YYWW or 067YYWW (YY and WW coding for the year and week of manufacture for the speaker).
