Listen, you're my people. You know who's side I'm on and all, but I've gotta say:

Their OT forum kicks the crap out of ours.

Agree, though. I like talking about stuff with the crew here. There have been some great threads about books and a few other pretty classic ones. I wonder about DB players and OT, though. The guys down here have more of a utilitarian view of the forum, whereas upstairs it's more of a social hang. I pop in there every once in a while to see what's up.

One man's meat is another man's poisson and all, but I have less than no interest in participating in anything like the above topic headings. If I want to talk ****, I'll wait till we're on break or something.

Fair enough, Ed, but will at least tell us which Golden Girl? ..or are you not cool with choosing just one?

    Thanks.

Just checked back on our cousins over there. Nice run of 3 new off-topic threads:

"On September 23, 1862, Tolstoy married Sophia Andreevna Behrs, who was 16 years his junior and the daughter of a court physician. She was called Sonya, the Russian diminutive of Sofya, by her family and friends. They had thirteen children.

The marriage was marked from the outset by sexual passion and emotional insensitivity when Tolstoy, on the eve of their marriage, gave her his diaries detailing his extensive sexual past and the fact that one of the serfs on his estate had borne him a son."

Well they're our cousins we live in the same building just different floors. They may be a little classier than us but were a little more humorous.

In the end were both cooler than guitarists and lead singers that's all that matters. Sounds like op wants a golden girl thread which I will agree is a good idea...I am so blanch.

OK as a reformed player of the six string short scale bass I have to ask:
in the eternal us vs. them vs. the guitar pickers....I have feet in all 3 camps, although some are better rooted than others......Do I dare admit this? oops, i just did.
just dont ask me to sing.

I must confess I had to google Adrienne Barbeau. Was it the Swamp Thing performance that had you hooked or the more recent showing in Carnivale?

As a DB player of seven years, I think I made a mistake going to the BGOT before popping over here. There certainly are some things I can't agree upon with the folks upstairs. I think I'm going move on down here, where people have more brains than cannabis.

Yeah, but with all the grammar study threads at least us knuckle-dragging BG know the difference between "then" and "than."
