These guys have always been one of my favorites. This clip is just crazy to me. So much multitasking between the singers/guitarists and bassist.

    Mmm... Nice! P-bass heaven!

DCFC is an interesting band. "Narrow Stairs" is one of their recordings that I get more and more with each listen.

one of my favorite bands for sure!

I really dig Nick's bass tone.
My favorite album is 'The photo album', but my favorite bass lines is probably from 'I will possess your heart', so simple and yet so catchy!

    kind regards

That's a very cool performance. The call response between the guitars and, then, the keys / guitar is nice!

That's a fun bass line to play. An example of a simple, repeated line that get's you into the Zone and you don't want to leave it.

    Death Cab For Cutie.

Originally it came from The Bealtes' Magical Mystery Tour film.

It's the title of a song performed by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

Everything can be traced back to the Beatles.

What sucks for me is that this band really deserves to be much more popular maybe if they could get Jay-Z or Kanye to throw a rhyme on this so it could get some airplay.

But they are pretty popular, I think, especially for what they do. They seem more popular than say Superchunk which i think should have been more popular.

The Bonzo Dog Band song predates the Beatles movie.
