Just picked up a Dipinto belvedere at the Dipinto Philadelphia store. Chris was awesome and so is the bass. Best bass I've played and for the price it seems crazy. sounds like a jazz bass with a humbucker right on the neck. Very comfortable body and neck. I highly suggest trying one out.

I had one for awhile. Great basses. The neck is awesome, and the tone almost always works in rock, rootsy stuff, etc. Chris D. is extremely cool too. If you dig tongue-in-cheek glam rock, check out his band Creem Circus. They're a blast.

My friend Jamaaladeen Tacuma plays on them. I sat in on a gig he had in Philly at Warmdaddy's and he let me play his Belvedere. Nice bass that I woudn't mind adding to my collection. I'd get the deluxe though. I like all that shiny sparky stuff.

Ever since hearing Jamaaladeen Tacuma play them, I wanted and now have one (Belvedere Deluxe, black). Awesome bass. I keep trying to get friends to buy them too. Love the punchy, bassy, trebly tones I can get with it.

Not much to it--you just start a thread called "DiPinto Club" or something like that, and if you want to you can give out numbers to folks who post to the thead and want to "join".
