DIY matching headstock

    What is the right way to do it and the wrong way? Who has done it well? Pictures would be appreciated, I want to build a jazz bass with an all parts neck and have it have a matching headstock so I need all the help I can get.

    Tape off below the headstock. Paint with same paint as you do the body? Seems pretty simple, to me.
