1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum. Thank you for all of your feedback.

The TB Android app is working, you may need to uninstall/reinstall. The iPhone app is still pending approval by Apple. If you haven't yet, try using your mobile browser - TalkBass is responsive to any screen size.

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

Does anyone here practice Asatru?

    Disclaimer:
I read the forum rules both in the general and in the sticky for this subforum, and my understanding is that religious threads are permitted but closely moderated. If that is not the case then please understand I was not trying to break the rules. I may have misunderstood them.

    --------------------------
Now I truthfully I am looking for this thread to be more academic than religious. I want to hear what the religion entails from someone who practices it. I have googled some, but I want to have a conversation.

So if you can, tell me about the ways and rituals of Asatru please.

I thought religious threads were only allowed in the[supporting member-only]lobby. Regardless, I have never heard of Asatru

Zero, religion threads aren't allowed in Off Topic - the only place at TalkBass they can go is the Lobby which requires a supporting membership. Your question is innocuous enough, but all it takes is one off-key post to send the whole thing into the ditch.

For information, the OT rules linked at the top of the OT forum state:
