Does Badass III bridge line up with with Fender body 5-hole bridge

    just want to make sure before buy one. this is the string thru body version. anyone selling one?

    Yes... It will line up perfectly with your string thru Fender.

    Not sure what you're asking. BAIII has 7 holes. 3 for screws, 4 for string-thru, and will not lineup with Fender 5-hole mounting.

    I think you may be incorrect here... Badass II is specifically designed to replace a Fender. The Badass III is for string through body basses.

    I put a BadassIII on an American Standard Jazz with the string through bridge. It fit perfectly! Both use 3 mounting screws.

    The BadassIII will not work with a vintage style 5 mounting screw bridge without some plugging and redrilling.

    I think the op is confusing us by saying the string through has 5 mounting holes. They do not.

    True. But it does line up with the 'modern' Fender string through bridge.
