one more ...
Great job. I bet it sounds as great as it looks. Very cool color scheme too.
Really cool, but how about some more details? what sort of wood are the body, neck? Whose pickups? Why the placement so near the neck and bridge? Did you make the neck or buy it? Active or passive? Knobs volume and tone or blend? How did you get the cool designs on it? How does it PLAY? How does it SOUND? DO you have a build string somewhere with progress photos and comments? etc., etc.
and there is one more thing:
Was the pickup location dictated to by the RP logo in the middle?
Looks like a proper mongrel and is all the better for it.
That's awesome! Love the colors (even the back) - the stain on the neck is just perfect.
Big question - how does it sound?
Looks great, I really like the control labels on there. That neck is incredible! +1 for sound clips!
I have built a "machine": the Pickup-Locator to find the best place ...
Details? Here we go:
and here is the stack for the bass: (posted a few years ago)
That is genius!
Love the bass. And the amp!
You are an artist!
The headstock was designed by me, it's a mix between the classic Fender (don't forget, it's a double-P) and a MusicMan. The dimension of the Fender is to large for my taste, and now the bass is no longer top-heavy. And there are no dead-spots ...
Let's hear some sound clips.
Everything looks gorgeous. The amp stack has me in awe, and so does the headstock. In fact there's nothing I don't like in this thread!
...So I'll make a bad joke just to have something I don't like in here:
is "Aufbau" the sound of a German Shepherd barking?
Separate names with a comma.
