I just bought a cabinet here on TB and it is a DR Bass 1x12.

It has an Eminence Deltalite 4512 4 ohm Neo in it and I need an 8 ohm cabinet.

Anyone has a similar spec speaker who wants to trade let me know.

Or buy outright for $80.00 CONUS shipped.

Speaker is in great shape and works perfect.

    Email if pics needed.

Um….there is no such thing as an Eminence 4512. And the only 4 ohm Neo that I am aware of Eminence makes it the 3015LF (but I could be wrong about that)

    You sure that isn't a 2512 Series 2 Deltalite?

I called Eminence and read to them the information on the sticker in side the frame. Their answer is it is was a special design speaker made for DR. BASS.

I did some research and found Eminence used to make a Deltalite 4512. And DR.bass confirmed all of this when I called them.

Also if you look at the picture it is printed on the paper E4512111 I.

The cabinet is to old to be a series II anyway. And I have the speaker in hand reading the label.

Attached is a photo of the frame sticker and if you can enlarge a bit you can see between the wire the words 4 ohms.

So at the best it is a 4 ohm Neo Eminence 12" speaker used in a Dr, Bass cabinet.

Probably the same one as in my 4 ohm Dr. Bass cabinet.

Any interest in trade for an 8 ohm Eminence Kappa NON-NEO rated at 500W?

No thank you on the trade - I am moving to NEO's for the weight.

Also, it is in the original post:

According to the original post and Dr. Bass this speaker is a Low Freq speaker. (LF)

Yeah, my Dr. Bass started life as a Subwoofer (112LF).

Kewl! I'll have to keep this one in mind.

Leland Crooks cleared it up for me.

Eminence made many 4 ohm Neo's - but they were for builders only.

    They never sold them public.
