I took this in a trade a while back and I just don't play it, so it has to go to fund more GAS.

I am not sure whether it is the neo or ceramic version. I asked that question when I did the trade but if I got an answer it is gone from my brain and inbox.

Also, full disclosure - the cab smelled strongly of cigarette smoke when I got it over 2 years ago. The smell is pretty much gone now, but if you are very sensitive you will notice it when you get close.

Let's say [DEL]$300[/DEL] $250 plus shipping, which will probably be in the $50 range on average. I would prefer a local Boston sale, and I will deliver any reasonable distance.

Also, I am looking for a straight sale (paypal preferred), but if you have a trade request feel free to send it. You never know....

Does this have a Kappalite 3012LF driver in it? I'm wondering if it can work as a stand-alone or if it needs something on top.

I did figure out that it is the neo version, but I don't think it is the kappalite. The sticker on this one says 300W 4ohm, but I think the kappalite is a 450W 8 ohm driver. Also, to my ears this can doesn't have much in the highs. I would describe it as a "warm" sounding cab. I hope that helps.

Am still wondering what driver is in this cab. I couldn't find a 300-watt 4 ohm neo driver on the Eminence website. Did Dr. Bass have theirs made special?

I honestly don't know. All I know is that it is the neo version. If anyone else has some insight feel free to chime in.

With the sellers permission I can answer this question or I can delete it if you wish.

The driver that is in there is an Eminence Delta 12LF. Ceramic. 4 ohms. Not Neo unless someone swapped the speaker out. The Delta has a stamped frame that is fairly thin gauge and you can tell by looking at the edge or "lip" of the frame that faces outwards on the out most edge. The 12LF has good low freq extension but rolls off around 1khz pretty fast so it's fairly dark sounding by itself. Free bump, used to have this same cabinet and it is a good choice.

Thank you for clearing that up! The neo info came from the previous owner - I fixed the thread title accordingly.

I would agree that it is a dark/warm sounding cab.
