Looking into another portable combo, loud enough for a small band mix, with post EQ DI to FOH.
Looking into the 2 x 8" combos from TC Electronic and Eden. I'm familiar with the TC gear and only ever had an Eden WTX264 - which had a great tone but a noisy unit.
Any feedback on the new Eden EC Combos??

I know I'm resurrecting a serious zombie thread, but I'm trying
to decide between these two amps for a small (two acoustic guitars
and one of those drum box thingies the drummer sits on and vocals)
group, that's light weight and easy to carry/move.

These guys don't get loud at all (in my opinion a little too quiet:).
I have a Mesa M6 and two 4x10"s for louder band situations and
an old Genz GBE250c 2x10 combo but I want something easier
and lighter (bass case in one hand, small amp in the other)
    for these guys.

We will be playing a variety of music but mostly classic rock.
Any opinions on these or something similar? Thanks!

Oh, forgot to mention I play active 4 string bass's-
(Alembic Epic 4 or Ibanez SR500) if it matters.
