I have 3 pedals I use a mxr m80 bass di, mxr bass envelope filter and a mark bass super synth. When ever I use the Di with any of the modulation pedals my amp distorts and everything sounds like garbage. I like the Di and the tone I get from it. Can anyone sugest an order or maybe another pedal to clean up my sound? Or even if I should remove a pedal?

There is technically no wrong way to order your pedals..lol

That said some pedals tend to work a little better or play nicer with other pedals in a certain order..

i suggest you read this article for a little direction..

    If it were me

    I would go Bass>> Filter >> Synth >> D.I.>> amp

I would put the filter after the synth. The synth needs as clean a sound as possible, and the MBSS in particular won't "retain" the sounds of your filter. However, there might be times when you want to use the filter after the synth.
