    Hi
I have a zoom b2.1u and was wondering if I should connect it via the effects loop on my trace Elliot ..or run it inline from the bass to the input of the amp ?
The device manual does not mention the effects loop method

Try both ways, see which sounds better.

In between bass and amp may sound better for some effects.

In the loop generally will sound better for time-based FX such as delay and reverb. IIRC

So I guess it depends on what effects you use the most. You could get a switcher pedal and wire it up to pass the signal to the effects loop (and a clean signal to the amp) and fully affected signal to the amp's front end as needed. :D

(yes, the link's a geetar example, but the basic principles still apply)

All depends on what you like to run I woldn't recomend you running any distorion patches through your effects loop but if you use modulation patches more you would be ok. I had one of those a few years ago and it sounded great through the front input of the amp.
