This is a great 1/4 size laminate Engelhardt bass. This bass was made in 1978 and shows the wear from being used over the years. Has lots of dings, chips, laminate splits, and so on. The instrument is structurally sound and made in America. It does have the common neck break that you see with Engels and Kay basses but has been repaired and the work is solid. This is a great bass for a new player, electric players transitioning, or someone who wants a smaller bass. You can play this like a bass with end pin fully extended or in a seated position like a cello. I was actually planning on going to make it a tenor bass and play it like a large cello but never got around to it. String length is 35". Paypal or cash at pick up. This is local pick up only.
