Caught the Experience Hendrix tour the other night (excellent show) and the bassist who did most of the back-up work looked to be switching between a Jazz bass and a Troy Sanders signature Squier Jag bass...interesting. The bass rig looked like two Fender Super Bassman300's with two 8x10 cabs. Sound at the venue was not the greatest, but it was a great guitar show. Tony Franklin rocked a blue fretless, looked like he played with a pick for part of the night too. Still can't believe the other guy (Scott somebody) played a Squier, though I think it's kind of cool that he did. It's a pretty good looking bass, for sure...

People gonna play on what they like. Squier rocks. So much that they are great to take on the road and if they get heisted, easy to replace and cheap.

The troy sanders bass is cool looking, and for $300 new? Can't really go wrong.

just think of how many squiers he could just leave on stage (or smash!) after the gig for that $10k
