    For sale is my mirror-image matched set of two (2) Low Down Sound "nEARful" 12/6/1 bass cabs. I bought these a couple years ago to function as part of my eventual "big rig". But it's clear to me now that I won't be needing them anytime soon, so to preserve precious space in my home, back on the market they go!

    Each cab is in MINT condition - never been played. Here are the specs:

    * Eminence Kappalite 3012LF 12-inch woofer
    * Faital W6N8-120 6.5-inch midrange driver
    * Eminence ASD 1001 1-inch high-frequency driver
    * JBL PT-B99HF high-frequency waveguide
    * Ralf Patterson custom 3-way crossover (points @ 800 Hz & 4 kHz)
    * Midrange attenuator + High frequency attenuator
    * Dual Speakon output jacks
    * Top cab has drivers in mirror image to the bottom cab
    * Heavy duty recessed bar handles on each side
    * Duratex coated
    * ¾” plywood construction
    * Heavy duty plastic stacking corners
    * Each cab approximately 25” H x 17” W x 16” D
    * Stack of two cabs is approximately 51 inches tall
    * Approximately 45 pounds each
    * LDS name badges will be provided unattached

    I bought these directly from Don Oatman for about $650 each. Am selling for $500 each or $1,000 for the set, plus shipping.

    Live in or near the NYC area? Save on the shipping charges, and pick them up from me directly.

    Will ship via UPS Ground to anywhere in the CONUS. PayPal only please. No trades.

    I recently bought an LDS 12/6/1 Cube here on TB. Amazing. Doubt these will be here long. Well worth the price especially considering you'd probably spend a bunch more making them yourself... GLWTS.

    I just recently built two cubes for about $650 each. I would have been all over this. Great deal on both.

    I gigged one of these for a few years, same crossover spec. It was a great cab! Don does very good work.

    Believe me, this LDS stack is a thing of beauty. Under different circumstances, I would never part with it.

    Ah well... :atoz:

    Great looking cabs! I have yet to hear a fEARful cab in action. I read all the praises but still a little reluctant. I am currently running two Dr. Bass cabs. Rx 2x12 and a Rx2x10. I am under the impression that two of the 12/6/1 cabs would crush my two Dr.Bass cabs???:bag: Any comparison info would be great. I am in upstate N.Y. and have been pricing the fEARful build costs and they are fairly expensive. this seems like a very good price.

    I've read comments about the Dr. Bass cabs sounding pretty good (when you can actually get one), though I've not actually heard one in action. But this matched "nEARful" stack will undoubtedly outperform them - by a wide margin.

    You're unlikely to get a better deal on pro-quality cabs that will produce like these will. Pick 'em up in person, and save the shipping expenses - which could be significant. Saves me a major schlep to the UPS Shipping Center too. :meh:

    Well, I'm adding to the offering. After much hand-wringing, I've decided to also part with my mint Euphonic Audio iAmp Pro. Features a black Duratex head case custom made by Don Oatman himself, matching the footprint of the cabinets exactly.

    It's the amp head I had chosen to run with this LDS stack. But as I'm now going in a different direction, the iAmp Pro is expendable.

    Here's a link to my For Sale thread for the Pro:
