I have for sale 2 Ibanez SR 500's from the mid 90's. I am the original owner of both basses. Both basses are in between a 7 to 8 out of 10 condition. Very minor surfaces scratches on the backs of the basses but that is it.

Both basses will come with hardshell cases, strap and strap locks.

For each bass and everything with them, I am asking $350.00 shipped anywhere in the United States.

    Here are the pictures.

Both of the basses were made at the Korean factory and have the AFR P/J active pickups in them.

In the 18 and 19 years I have owned both of these basses, they have never given me a single issue. The only thing I have ever had to do to them is change their strings.

They have been great basses and have tons of sentimental value. I would never be selling these if money was not needed. We had two major medical things happen to us 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 years ago and the medical bills are simply kicking our butts. Selling these to give the kids a little better Christmas this year.

Why before Christmas? Don't you know I have a 7 year old son? I've been looking for the black one for well over a year now and, like these, I always find one when my bank can't support my wants.

It would be a great bass for him. I'm in no hurry to sell these ones so they may still be available after Christmas if they don't sell anytime soon.

I will have to take some of those tomorrow in the daylight. The back looks great too. There are some very minor surface scratches but no dings or chips or paint missing. But I have also always watched what I have worn when I'm playing. Nothing that will scratch or damage the basses.

Not on these, only the front of the headstock. The SR 800's and above from the 90's had painted necks. I'll try and get pictures today for you too. The wife had me out doing last minute shopping yesterday.

Here are some updated pics of both basses. On the 95' crimson metallic SR 500, the 2 dings seen were from several years ago playing at church. I was at the soundboard making adjustments and I think turned one way to let someone by and accidentally dinged the body of the bass on the table of the soundboard. Other than that one thing, both basses have been babied.

I hear you Tony. Props to you for taking care of your kid. Prior to my wife and I getting married, she was a single Mom of 2 with no child support as well so we can relate.
