Here we have an incredible Peavey G-Bass.

This is one with the graphite weave in the neck that is said to have been made by Modulus (whether that is true, I cannot say for sure).

Awesome bass in great condition- no real wear to speak of.

The graphite feels like glass on your hand, one of the most comfortable necks I have played.

Also, the sparkle red is a pretty hard color to find. It really pops. The pictures really don't do the color justice. I might have to try to get a few different photos to show the sparkle.

These basses had some pretty interesting specs:
    - 35" scale with 1.5" nut width
    - Graphlon Nut
    - 18v preamp (Bass, mid, treble)
    - Graphite neck
    - Pau Ferro fretboard
    - Gotoh bridge and tuners
    - Basswood body
    - Extremely long upper horn for perfect balance

    $450 Shipped in ConUS

    I haven't seen that ad before...it's awesome!

I have the exact same bass and it plays and sounds great! Good luck with your sale!

I absolutely love the little conversation within the paragraph. It's so funny.

On that thought, while the ad claims weight to be less than eight pounds, my bathroom scale puts this example at 8.2 lbs. Still quite svelte, and with incredible ergonomics to boot.

Definitely not opposed to shipping international, but we would have to work out shipping beforehand!

I decided to weight mine since you said yours is 8.2 lbs and my scale says mine is 7.8 lbs. Guess that should have said they average at around 8 lbs :p

I wouldn't be surprised if that's actually how they did it. My scale could be slightly off too, it definitely is not heavy!

I like 35" scale 4 bangers. This one has always sparked my curiosity.

With the pickup config is the tone liken to a Pbass on steroids or is it more of a Stingray flavor?

That is a highly contested question if you look it up, and for good reason. I think it really depends how you play. It has a sound all its own but is surprisingly flexible with the preamp. Just moving you plucking hand changes the tone drastically.

Personally, I don't think it sounds like either- simply because it isn't either- but a lot of people do.

One thing I can say for sure is that it sounds good. I like how it fits with a band, but it can be a bit too aggressive in some situations. But again, this can be tamed with the help of the preamp and plucking positions.

I just realized that in all of that I just danced around the question. It is a very difficult question to answer because it depends on so many things. XD

It is gone. I'm not sure why it is still open. My apologies.
