A friend of mine is a woodworker and has built a few basses over the past couple of years. We're planning to do a Ric copy this fall winter. Where can I buy Ric pickups or can I? Other manufacturers are fine too, as long as they are copies of the Ric pickups.

    .

......or better still, contact Talkbass member "Aceonbass".

Dane sells Rickenbacker parts cheaper than most.
I've bought OEM Rickenbacker pickups and wiring looms from him before.

If you want noise reduction, then Joe Barden is now making a Rickenbacker replacement set that has good reviews.
