Has anyone recently had a bass set up at Fat Cat guitars in Elgin, Illinois? I'm curious about how much they charge and do they do good work on basses?

Does that mean it's nothing to write home about or I shouldn't be posting this question?

No, just a gentle prod to be more specific - Elgin can mean a lot of things to a worldwide forum. I'm editing the OP now that I'm sure what Elgin you're talking about.

That said, are these the same guys that were out on Randall in Algonquin?

Yes! But they have moved to Elgin IL. I know they do good work on guitars just curios if that translates over to basses as well?
