Well this is off topic. Lately my band has been playing out and we have been stopping for pizza, so it got me to thinking what other pizza's are out there. My favorite of all time is a Cheese, Sausage, Green Pepper, Mushroom and Black Olive pizza.
I have been thinking that Green Olives would be good, but with a different combination.
Deep Spiritual Thoughts on your favorite Pizza's

i can't believe i'm saying this because i am (or was) a real pizza snob...only from some exotic Italian eatery etc.

but i swear, i have come to realize that papa murphy's (yes, that papa murphy...take & bake pizza) thin crust is better than anything else in town.

how do i like it? either with canadian bacon, mushrooms and onion or hamburger, mushrooms and onion.

my favorite used to be Darra's in Chattanooga. Sam Darras was on old Greek guy who made the best thin crust pizza around... really thin, really crispy and really tasty. sam has been dead for lo these many years

after that, i felt that Shakeys made a good attempt at an excellent thin crust. shakeys, likewise, is no more.

i have found, in nashville at least, the next best thing is papa murphy's take & bake thin crust, as i have described.

might not be quite as good as Sam's pizzas when i was a kid, but they don't hang their head, either.

I always find a pepperoni and black olive or good Italian sausage and black olive pie to be good. But there is a local place, Dr. Ho's Humble Pie, that makes a specialty pizza, the Pizza Belissimo. It's a white pizza with shaved pecorino Romano cheese and prosciutto, then right before they serve it they put a bunch of arugula dressed in light vinegar and virgin olive oil right in the middle of the pie. The heat of the pie slightly wilts the arugula, and the olive oil dressing really compliments the Romano cheese and prosciutto. It's crazy good- a bit messy, but just delicious and unique.

I like pepperoni. Only place I can get a decent pizza in Japan is at Costco. Which is 3 hours away from where I live and totally worth it!

Meat & Cheese (and garlic), a tiny smear of tomato paste, and a really thick crust; crunchy on the outside, warm and soft in the middle.

pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, ham, bacon. but never all at the same time. pick 2-3 meats and get it like that.

most of the time i just go for pepperoni or cheese.

if it aint broke, dont fix it.

I'm definitely a pizza snob. I grew up near New Haven, CT and NYC.

I'll eat pretty much anything, but it's hard to beat a simple plain cheese cooked in a huge brick oven from New Haven. If I want to get fancy, Clams Casino from Modern Pizza is awesome.

Everybody rants and raves about Pepe's, but it's not even close to my favorite.

It varies. A veggie pizza usually does it for me - Onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, spinach, garlic.

At the Yardhouse I had a delicious vegetarian BBQ chicken pizza made with Gardein chicken pieces.

Pizza is like sex. hard to have any *bad* pizza. it's either good, or awesome.

I know this flies in the face of every true pizza connoisseur, but I really like American Cheese on my pizza. That gooeyness of the cheese is awesome. There's a small place in my town called Alfredo's that has the best, IMHO.
