Is there somebody in the Fender Custom shop who specifically winds P bass pickups for there high end basses, and how does one get a hold of such a person? Maybe some of you have been down this road and can help me out. Thanks⚡

Well yes. There are two ladies who wind pick-ups in the custom shop.
When you visit the factory you see them applying their craft.
The oldest of the two ladies is called Abigail Ybarra and she has been working at Fender for 30 or 40 years. She is a bit a legend in her own rights.

I don't believe you can reach these ladies directly, you probably have to go through customer service for the Fender Custom shop.

If you are interested in seeing some picture of these two ladies, a search on google image should yield plenty or results.

The Fender tour is an amazing experience and is highly recommended.
