I have too many basses sitting around, collecting dust.

This is my "Joan Rivers" P Bass. See build thread below.

This is a Fender Standard (MIM) P Bass. The body is the only original part of this bass. All other parts have been replaced.

    Upgraded parts linclude:

Neck: Lined, fretless, Fender Mexican Jazz

    -Hipshot HB-7 tuning machines

    -Hipshot Three String Retainer (Black)

    -EMG PJ pickup set

-EMG BTC System + EMG VMC onboard preamp

    -Double battery box

    -Leo Quan Badass II bridge

    -Fender black neck plate

-Custom Cut plexi solid yellow pickguard

    -Schaller strap buttons

    Labor Done:

-Rout out the body for increased EQ cavity and 18 Volt battery box.

    -J pickup cavity routed

-Headstock label replaced with a custom/Fender decal

-Headstock & Neck finished with Reranch vintage amber tint lacquer

-Body finished with a nitro lacquer black. Lightly relic'd

-Setup by a professional luthier using DR Sunbeams

    -SKB hard case included

This bass plays like butter. The action is sick with how low it is. The EQ gives the user endless tone possibilities. The bass has a meaty yet super clean growl and the 18 volt EQ provides endless headroom. The lined fretboard makes it a snap for those who have never gone without frets. The "Mwah" produced when soloing the bridge pickup is outstanding. The lines in the fretboard are white, so seeing where you are at in low light is not a problem.

There is a crack in the back of the body, by the battery box. However, I'm unsure if it's a finish or wood crack. It does NOT affect playability, or structural integrity at all. It is also not located in a load bearing area of the bass. If you want pictures of this blem, I will be happy to take some.

Come get a sick deal today! $325 shipped OBO!
