Recently acquired an '87 mij e-series fender precision. Looking for a source to purchase a gold anodized pickguard with no lower thumb rest holes. Currently has 13 hole style pickguard , but assume 10 hole will mount? Regardless, all advertised guards I find, have the lower thumb rest holes pre-drilled. Any guidance/help appreciated. Thanks

I had a good experience with Jeannie's Pickguards--a Stingray shaped pickguard for a 55-02 Lakie Skyline.

The smart thing is to call the guy on the phone, and talk to him about what you want. He explained to me that there are often small variations in the pickguards, even on the same model, over time. So the template he has for your bass might not exactly match what you have or want.

My experience was a good job, with a quick fulfillment, at a good price.
