Price drop -- now $1200 shipped to CONUS.
For Sale: Fender Tony Franklin signature FRETTED Precision (P neck, P/J pups).

Color is officially called gold amber. Plays well, nice tonal range, very well constructed.
Just weighed it -- 9.5 lbs! Has hipshot drop-D tuner.

from Product description: "Although most know Tony Franklin for his amazing fretless work, he’s been doing sessions with the same fretted Precision Bass® for years. Franklin’s top-notch fretted signature bass sings just like his fretless model, with Precision and Jazz Bass® pickups and a three-way selector switch that provide an array of great tones. Features include specially voiced pickups, lacquer finish, and modern C-shaped maple neck and fingerboard made to Franklin’s specs"

It was made in 2011, I believe.

Very good condition, minor signs of usage -- minor swirling on pickguard. TF basses are all made in America (in case you were wondering) and very well constructed.

I've not gigged it a lot, as it's not my main bass (my TF fretless is the main one). Of the few gigs I've played with this bass, most have been at church.

Will be shipped in original case, in good condition but there are a few scuff marks on the outside and several minor signs of use (see pix below). Comes with unopened case candy and original Fender strap.

Recently set up by Phil Magallenes in Tampa Bay area.

Sales only to buyers in Continental US (not Alaska or Hawaii, or Canada). Paypal okay although I'd prefer a no-fee transaction through money order or bank check. Will be very well packed.

Looking closely at the bass, I found two very small blemishes -- can't see them from front, have to turn bass upside down to find them. These are close-up pics of them, one is a tiny blemish spot, another a tiny "ding."

You know it, you love it -- great P/J. Come and get it!

MIGHT be up for a trade of the right fiver (a 5502?) or possible a six -- needs to be max 10 lbs, better yet 9.5 or less, and I prefer maple fingerboards. Possibly interested in the "right" P bass. Depends ...
Please PM me with any offers, etc.

Now $1200 shipped to CONUS. Last price drop before I consider other options. These are $1700 new, and often $1300 or so used.
Nice bass, good deal. Buy with confidence.
