    Neck Is SOLD, Pickups are SOLD

    Recently my bass insanity got the better of me and I bought a bass I can't use! I was hypnotized by the finish on this one. It's way too cool to cut up and modify for my needs.

    I call it Mr. Blue Jeans! It's 3 years old and barely used

    Body:
    Warmoth walnut Dinky P with carved top and figured maple veneer finished in blue jeans!
    Rear rout
    3 stem holes
    Side jack
    High mass bridge (I don't know the make)
    Chrome neck plate with screws
    Fully shielded

    One spot on the figure that needs to be touched up and a few spots on the walnut where the finish has been rubbed. Easy fixes if you want to bother with it.

    [DEL]Pickups:
    Nordstrand Dual Coils (parallel) with passive VVT + jack. Everything works as it should[/DEL]
    [DEL]Neck:
    Warmoth J maple/ebony (all black). Clear satin finish
    Schaller tuners
    6230 stainless steel frets
    Pearloid dots
    No visible wear. Truss rod works fine. One small nick in the headstock.[/DEL]

    Prices (about half of new), shipped CONUS:

    Yes it is! I'm still thinking about picking up the router and transforming it into a true Frankenstein bass (where is my medication!?). I'm a P Bass player, primarily. Maybe put a jazz in the bridge position....hmmmmm.

    Can you tell me what the dims of the nordys are? I could use a string to string spacing and length and width of the housing. If they're the right size I may be interested.

    I've had requests for some dimensions:

    Measuring from the top edge of the neck pocket to the first edge of the pick up cavities, the pickups are located at 7.25" and 11" .

    Pickups are now sold! Body is still in my shop....but moving closer to the router! I'm asking $300 which is about half of what a new one would cost. First reasonable offer will take it!

    This is killing me! I can't afford to buy it right now, and I don't need another project either, but please, somebody buy that gorgeous body!
