    That song was one of those moments where all the planets lined up and magic happened.

    I actually met Thijs a few years ago. He had reformed Focus to perform at the ProgDay festival in North Carolina. Unfortunately, Jan Akkerman had parted company years before. That was a cool experience nonetheless.

    Focus was one of my favorite bands from back in the day. I always enjoyed Akkerman's tasteful, sophisticated, nuanced, highly melodic style - not unlike Steve Hackett of Genesis. Moving Waves is a wonderful album. :cool:
