    This bass was built in 1990 and was the first 6 string Monarch built. To add to that, I was also the first narrow neck 6 string built (as evidenced by the custom machined bridge). Specs are as follows:
    *Walnut body with Curly Maple top
    *3 piece Maple neck with ebony fretboard
    * neck through construction
    *Brass nut
    *Abalone Block inlays
    *Bartolini Pickups
    *HAZ preamp
    *24 frets, 34" scale
    *Active preamp with bass/treble boost/cut
    *Weight approx. 9lbs (per bathroom scale)
    *16mm string spacing
    The only issue is that the finish is worn on the top side of the upper horn; other than that, there are no other cosmetic or operational issues with this bass. Price has been dropped to $5500.00 shipped or best offer.I am mainly interested in a straight sale, but if you have a Stambaugh, Cliff Bordwell, MTD, Roscoe or Peavey Cirrus I will consider a trade plus cash deal; 5 and 6 string only. Kindly note, I will only entertain trades plus cash; please do not contact me with trade only offers. Please be serious when making an offer.

    Sadly, I can't play 6, only if it was a 5 then it would already be mine :rolleyes:

    Would you do a 2 for 1 trade?

    Had a few offers, so far no trades that interest me. Please note, I'm not interested in Fenders, four strings,or basses made by relatively unknown builders. The only brands I'm mainly interested in are the ones I've listed at the top of this thread.
