This Fodera was on eBay a few weeks ago, maybe longer. The auction closed with no bids so I asked the seller if he intended to relist it. I got no response. Does anyone know more about this beast? Anyone seen it relisted anywhere? I am intrigued, to say the least. That top is the baddest-*** piece I've seen in a while.

Yeah, I seen that on eBay a few months ago probably. Maybe longer.

It's a nice bass for sure!

Yes, I remember this one on the 'bay. I actually offered him a trade for three of my basses. He was willing to do that, but he also wanted $2,500.00 on top of it. I instead traded for the Fodera that is in my Avatar, and I'm glad I did.

I'm not a fan of the top. I love the quilt maple though.
I swear, his 5-string signature is the holy grail of basses in my eyes.

Wow! What three basses were you gonna trade for it, if you don't mind me asking? And he wanted $2500 on top of that? How much did he expect to get for it, the new asking price?

Do you know how long he had it before he decided to sell it?
I was thinking of ordering a similar bass when this came along. I'm not sure that the Kennedy model is my thing, though. I like the Imperial shape but not the Imperial II. The pickup locations are another thing. After I saw some basses with nice Redwood tops I knew I had to have one. I thought about figured Mahogany and possibly Koa but Redwood's definitely at the top of my list.

I think he had a BIN price of $7,300.00, and a starting bid of $6,200.00. He only had it for less than 3 or 4 months.

It's on CL now for $2,300. I smell a dead mackerel in the moonlight. I sent the seller an email.

The mackerel is definitely dead and smelly. The pics in the CL ad were lifted from an eBay auction that closed a month ago at $7,800. We'll see if I get a response from the doo doo who posted the ad.
