If I could I would keep the neck on this and pop it on a p bass. Just played it this morning at church. Played my RW p Friday with my rock band and it was just too wide. Jazz width with depth is where its at!

Haven't had a chance to weigh it again with full armor. Might not get to it until Sunday night.

She weighs 8 lbs 14.4 ounces (8.9lbs) with the bridge and pickup covers on.

This bass is unbelievably resonant and natural sounding (especially coming from the Lakland Darryl Jones I had recently with Aero pickups. That jazz overall sounded like a plastic, clinical disappointment.) The Jason Lollar pickups are wonderful. Im just more of a precision player and playing at church now, I put on premium on quiet electronics since the jazz is a true jazz in that unless the pickups are at the same level they do not cancel each other and you get that 60 cycle hum. Ironically, that is the best sound to get.... I like to play the neck full on and the bridge "broken" at like 75% on. There is nothing like single coil tone into a tube amp!

(sorry to double bump, but I am just starting to figure out picasa etc)
