I had installed EB strap locks the day I received my Bongo, but recently I decided to take those locks and transfer them to another bass. I had planned on replacing the strap button from the EB locks with the original EB buttons. Now here is my problem/question, the screws holding the strap buttons in were bent. The screws are the original ones that I received with the bongo. Is this a known problem and what should I do to avoid future bending of screws?
