    Base on current GAS

March 2014 - epiphone zenith bass

    September 2014 - rickenbacker 4001/4003

    December 2014 - warwick corvette German/pro 6 strings

An initial thought so that I can pace myself

Oh well... Plans don't normally work for me!

I currently have 9 basses. Gonna try to get down to 4 and go thru the new year GAS free.

I'm thinking of selling my 44-02 which is a great bass but I just never bonded with and felt the groove with. I'll either pocket the cash for my wedding or buy an American Jazz or build one from Warmoth parts.

    Uncompensated endorsing user: EBMM
Already on order... first bass guitar bought in 2 years, due in February:
EBMM Bongo 5 HS+piezo, unlined fretless in red sparkle

That'll likely be my only buy next year. I've been pretty GAS free for two years now, and can't really think of anything else I want.

    Haha....

By the way, perhaps acquisition for 2014 could Be earlier than my plan ( 1st purchase supposedly in march 2014)
Just placed an ad on my local classified and the proceeds from sale will go to a new purchase

    Oh well....

I very badly want a zenith. I played a horrifically setup one at GC and I imagine a properly setup one is really something special.

    Me too.
I'm wondering though if the lined fretless has got side dots/side markers

I recently had to retire, so I’ve got to be more frugal, but fortunately while I had the expendable income I got what I needed, plus some.

But I do hope to get a P-5 in ’14, either a Squier VM or a MIA Fender depending on how things go.

I've got two basses on order and five i'm getting rid of. going to simplify my collection to 4-5 basses. too many basses makes me nuts trying to find the "perfect" strings and set-up for them.
