Thanks. Unfortunately it's only available in the U.S. :(

I live in Greece. I've been having a heck of a time trying to find Bass Player here.
I've found a ton of guitar and keyboard magazines, but not bass player.

If you have friends or family in the US, have it sent there. Then have the friend/relative send it over to Greece. Frequency is up to you. Don't know how the costs would amount to though.

Is there a catch? Are you bombarded with junk mail as a result?

Bass Player IS junk mail. Way too many ads. It feels more like a catalog than a magazine.

Ha. True dat. I think Warwick is now a stakeholder in the magazine.

I do, but I don't want to burden any of them with having to do that for me once a month.
More so, one of our fellow TB'ers was kind enough to send me 2 back issues and it cost almost $20. Doesn't seem worth it.

I'm still on the search to find a distributor here. I emailed the magazine, but no answer.

I haven't really noticed any more additional junk mail then I already do. Yahoo and gmail filters have been pretty good catching them, so on occasion I'd view that folder and empty it.... But I had BP mag, FHM, Rolling Stone, and guitar mag without seeing any catches. Just make sure you answer no in most of the questionnaire.

You know, I've tried SO hard to like that mag. I really have. Once in awhile they interview someone I find interesting. But my last free sub ran out and I'm just not doing it again. Sorry Bass Player.

dmusic, I'm about where you are.

If you want to keep abreast of free magazine subscriptions, I urge you to RSS the "Free Stuff" forum on fatwallet or slickdeals. You'll get about 15 messages a day in your email and once in a while you'll find a free t-shirt that you'd wear or a magazine you'd like to try. And then sometimes you'll get free magazines you didn't even sign up for. Right now I'm enjoying the Wall St Journal for half a year and Sports Illustrated for a year. I got free Playboy for a year. Free Playboy!

Worked for me, 'til I noticed only available in the contiguous US states. Don't feel like harassing my friends in Cali to forward it to me here in HK.

Is anybody else getting spammed with a lot of free offers for magazines they would never want to read?
So far this week I have got e mails for these free magazines, Ladies' Home Journal, Working Mother and Nature Methods. That is just this week!
It would be nice if it were things I wanted but jeez

I can not complain to much because I am getting Playboy and Maxim free.
