Please see additional pictures below. And price drop: $850.

For sale is my 1998 American Deluxe Jazz Bass. 4 strings, lined fretless fingerboard. Black finish.

This bass is quite clean for a 15-year-old instrument. There are a few small dings and dents on the body, but nothing that breaks the finish. It is very light for a production Fender: less than 8 lbs by the bathroom scale. The neck is straight and everything is in good working order. Little wear on the fingerboard.

Ships with a Reunion Blues Aero case. $850 shipped within the continental U.S. And yes, I do accept PayPal.

I am reluctant to part with this one, but I am selling it to fund another purchase. And for that reason, there will be no trades for this one.

I'm really into the 1998-1999 USA Fender Jazz Deluxe 4 strs. Never have played the fretless version of this bass though. I've got a 1999 USA Deluxe 22 fret neck looking for a body if your willing to seperate?BTW nice looking bass!

Sorry, this bass won't be decapitated on my watch. It plays too perfectly as a fretless.

I recently purchased a 1998 MIM fretless jazz that looks almost new. It plays like a dream and although the least expensive of my basses one that i really enjoy playing. Must have been a good year for Fenders.

I have two of the Suhr Deluxe Jazz basses (a 4 and 5 string) and love them to no end.

I've always wanted a fretless one as well but damn if I'm not on the hunt for a Crimson Burst / maple neck Deluxe at the moment.

    Good luck with the sale!
