FS: 1978 Fender Precision, Walnut / Maple, 8.6 lbs! Original case too.
Yes, 8.6 lbs for an ash bodied 1978 Fender Precision bass! (about 9 lbs with both covers on)
Trans Walnut color (sometimes called Mocha or Root Beer). This one is a little more on the wine tinted side of walnut.
Very good to excellent condition. 8/10. Minor scrapes and dings on the body. The neck is in very good shape. The pickguard has a very small crack near the ouput jack. Minor fret wear.
All original except for 2 very minor items: Screws to the ashtray covers, and probably the plastic thumbrest.
Pickups, pots, pickguard, ashtray covers, body, neck, etc. All original.
1 5/8” nut width. Very low action and super light.
Original Fender case included as well. All latches work. Few dings, etc. 7.5/10
    [DEL]$1600[/DEL] $1500 shipped within the continental U.S.

    Thanks for the bass compliments.

Possible trade interest would be for a Fender Custom Classic Jazz V with a Maple fingerboard.

Glad I was able to help. I actually just listed a '76 Jazz Walnut that's a little more "brown" than this bass. Give them a good color comparison.
