FS: Beautiful 1991 Peavey RJ-IV (Silverburst).
These are getting harder to find, but I need the cash and the room. $350/OBO + shipping.

The Peavey Randy Jackson (RJ) model bass is a US-made 4-string bass with 3-band active EQ, neck-thru construction, P/J pickup configuration, Hipshot D-Tuner, black milled hardware and a custom Silverburst finish.
The body back contour on this bass makes it one of the most comfortable basses to play, either when sitting or standing.

I really, really like this bass and I have no complaints at all. I need the room and I'm trying to make sure it goes to a good home.

    The RJ-IV specs:

Maple Body w/ back (radial) contour
Neck-thru construction (bi-laminated Eastern Maple) w/ torsion rod
    34" scale / 21 frets
Macassar Ebony fingerboard (10" radius) w/ Mother-of-Pearl inlays
    1-3/5" Graphlon topnut
Top-loading solid milled bridge w/ adjustable saddles
    Reduced mass solid "mini" tuners
    Hipshot D-tuner (Bass X-tender)
    2 Split-Coil (Active) pickups: P (neck) & J (bridge)
    3-way pickup selector switch (Neck/Both/Bridge)
    3-band (9 Volt) on-board EQ (Lows, Mids*, Highs) Cut/Boost
    *Variable Mid-Control w/ 8 dip-switch settings (in control cavity)
    Weight: ~9 lbs.

One tiny, barely visible scratch at the bottom/back of the body (near strap button), and a small nick at the top of the headstock - other than that, it is in impeccable condition. There is a small piece of velcro securing the battery compartment cover on the back side. Includes HSC.

The headstock has "RJ-IV" on the scalloped part.

Yeah, the dip switches can add a monstrous amount of low mids.

Well, I've been reluctant to sell it anyway - I'm pulling this one off the blocks. No one has made an offer anyway - I guess I was asking too much for it.
