    Hi folks,

I bought this beauty from Rojo412 purely on impulse, always wanted to try one. But my SB Elite will handle the sound for me, so I'm going to put it up for sale. It's everything Adam said it was, I'll include the link to his ad, and then post the pics here.

    In the words of Adam:

"Up for sale is kind of a rare beast... an ARIA PRO SB1000-JT. This is the model, made in Japan around 2004, that was designed in collaboration with John Taylor of Duran Duran and Power Station fame.
It's part of their "Super Grade Series".

The differences from the standard model seem to be the black hardware, mostly. Speaking of that, the original bridge wasn't working to allow the action low enough, so it was replaced with a Hipshot A brass and that fixed the issue.

It's in really good shape, very little in the way of wear to speak of. Signs of playing, but no damage.

Ash body, in the "Oak" colored finish
    Maple/Mahogany 5 ply neck thru
Ebony 24 fret fingerboard, 40mm brass nut
    Gotoh tuners
    MB-1E pickup
Vol-Tone-6way rotary, with LED indicator, 18v preamp
    Schaller straplock buttons
    Weighs 10-11 lbs, approx.
Includes the documentation shown above, it's in Japanese!
    Ritter gig bag "

19mm string spacing at the bridge?

Also, are the electronics active/passive or always active?

Yes, 19mm spacing at the bridge. Good question about the electronics....I believe always active, LED is always on when a cord is plugged in. Roger Miller, are you there to answer?

Bump for Gary. He is an aces dude as I know from experience dealing with him.

And as I have opined on Adam's original FS thread this is a cool bass both for the model and the collectability. This is a Duranie's dream!
