    PRICE DROPPED!!!

For sale, a 2009 American Vintage Reissue 1962 Precision bass in white, tort guard. All original other than strings and strap buttons (originals in the case). Comes with OHSC and some case candy. I am the second owner. I can't call it flawless as you can "feel" a little wear at the back bump where your right arm comes down. It is barely visible and did not come out in any photos. Holes are drilled and it includes the pickup ashtray (not shown here).

I'd put it at an 8 or 9 out of 10 condition. Set up recently by my local guitar guy. Asking [DEL]$1,450 [/DEL] [DEL]$1,299 [/DEL] $1,099 shipped CONUS. Paypal accepted.

I've always loved the Oly/Tort combination. How much does she weigh?

Not sure (bathroom scale lies). I would guess in the 8.5-9.0 range. Very light. Very comfortable. Lighter than my 08 Am Standard P and 11 Am Standard J.

I am honestly only torn because I love the tone so much I had the same PUPs put into my 2008 American Standard - which has been my go to bass for the past 4 or 5 years! Feeling now like I no longer "need" this bass. (Of course, when I play it the buttery feel, perfect balance and old school vibe make me reconsider...)

Usually when there's no nibbles, the price is too high. Many choose to drop the price $50 give or take every week or so if there are no bites depending on how motivated they are to sell. You currently have someone selling a 62 TSB here on TB for $880 with a ding, one recently sold for below list price of $1050, another went for $1000.

I don't believe the avri models are graphite. It does not look quartersawn

While I appreciate the comments, isn't this sort of against policy? (For the record, I did drop the price).

Mentioning "what other things are selling for". Doesn't matter, I guess. All Good.

Not at all. Anyone viewing your listing has most likely seen the other threads and have a sense of what these are going for. The other thing is, it is a tough time to sell right now. People need money for Christmas. Hang tight. The rich kids will soon have their family doll and it will be burning a hole in their pockets. Translation is, their will be more disposable income soon after Christmas. ;)
