I’m sure you’ve heard this before: I own this bass that I swore I would never sell. And yet, here it is… circumstances are forcing me to sell my 2008 USA G&L L2500, part of the limited edition series made for the Bad Ass Bass Players forum. In the L2500 version, there were a grand total of 14 made, and this bass is one of them. FYI, here is a link to the original TB ad:

    http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/g-l-gandl-babp-l-2500-limited-edition-rare-936185/

This bass comes with the “K” switch option, which replaces the standard 2-position Series/Parallel switch with a 3-position switch. Basically, the middle (K) position changes the humbuckers into single coils for even more sonic options.

This bass has seen little use outside the house, as I’ve probably been overly cautious in taking care of it. Still about as mint as used can be. One thing for disclosure – a couple of the steel “ferrules” which the strings pass thru from the back come off when changing strings (B string most notable). It’s just a matter of making sure you don’t toss them out with the old strings – just pass the new string through the ferrule and tighten it. The ferrule once again is back in correct position. OHSC included.

Price is $1050 shipped CONUS. Not really looking for trades, but if I decided to go that way, it would be a very short list: USA NTB Cirrus 5 (+ cash), a Carvin B50 active (+ cash), or a 55-02.

Price drop to $1050 shipped and insured in CONUS. Also might consider other trades (5 string, thin necks).
