I am putting this incredible bass on the market.
I got it back in November from the second owner. He bought it from Vashon Johnson (miley cirrus); I really wanted to get into 5 strings and this bass is too hard to pass on once you play it.

Bacchus are handmade in Japan by incredible luthiers, on par with US Lakland and Custom Shop Fenders if not better.

Can't justify keeping this beast unplayed.

    Specs:

    Neck: 1 pc maple

Fret board: Ebony 35 inch scale with Pearloid blocks and binding.

Body: 2 pc highly figured Ash in trans oil finish.

    Pups : Bacchus JBT-ALV

    Preamp: Bartolini XTCT

Controls: volume , pickup blend , bass, mid, and treble

    Bridge : Bacchus DB 5
    19mm spacing at the bridge

Machine heads : Clover style custom Bacchus

    Weight: 9 lbs

This bass has tone for days, the flexibility with the electronics is amazing.
It is a LOOOOUUUUUDDD bass, much louder than anything I played, stingrays, elricks, active fenders, and active yamahas.

It ships in the pictured IGIG bag, it is fits a little tight but keeps it very protected.

I found this video comparing some bacchus, the standard 4 is the 4 string version of this one.

price $1350 shipped in the US only, no international shipping.

    I would consider a trade + cash for a 34" 5 string, G&L 2500, Fender Jazz or a wide bridge yamaha BB5000.

I am not sure I have the right name for this bass, it seems to be a WOODLINE but there is nothing on the bass that I can get the model name from, any Bacchus experts can determine which model this one is?

I think this would be the WoodLine.

I have a Bacchus Strong (Jazz with Soapbars!) Incredable bass!

I found a link that walked through the history of the brand and the lines. I'll try and find it and PM it to you...

Sounds good, the only other 5 string i would consider is a wenge neck thumb.
Too bad yours is a sixer....out of my range!

Ya man she's a whole lotta bass. I've been staring at that Bacchus all day it's says trans black oil looks kinda brown to me almost makes the ash look like walnut. Digging it though needs a black pick guard
