FOR SALE ONLY: Bluesman Vintage '55 Darkstar - This bass started it's life out as a standard '55 Deville. This past summer I sent it back to John Scott (owner of Bluesman Vintage) to upgrade the pickup to a Curtis Novak Darkstar. To my knowledge this is the only Bluesman Darkstar in existence. Looks & sounds incredible. As with all Bluesman Vintage basses, it's extremely resonant and comfortable to play.

    Specs:
    -Ash body
    -Maple neck w/skunk stripe
-Classic blonde finish with black pickguard
    -Curtis Novak Darkstar pickup
    -1.625" nut width (B width)
    -9lbs 1oz
    -Wilkinson bridge by Gotoh
    -Threaded neck inserts
    -Older Bluesman Vintage headstock
    -HSC included
    -Bridge cover included
    -Currently wearing GHS precision flats

    $1450 shipped CONUS

    $1325 CASH, local Atlanta pickup

    ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES

I also reserve the right to come to my senses and keep this.

I'll try to get some better pics in this weekend, but for now…

This guy sold me a Mike Lull V4 that will be buried with me. Phil has impeccable taste in basses. I don't think he should sell this. Grab it before he changes his mind.
