Wish I had the cash. It would be nice to have a birth year bass, and this is less than a month younger than I am.

I received a pm asking if it would be noticeable in any way if the Hipshot was replaced with an original bridge? Perhaps others are wondering the same. Well, the Hipshot has the identical footprint and mounts with the same two screws as the original bridge. So absolutely no modifications or finish damage if you wanted to return it to stock.

In response to a pm question regarding the non-original HSC, here are a couple of pictures. It is solid and functional, with 4 hinges and 3 closure clasps, all in working order.

The upgrades were done by the previous owner, but he gave me all of the original parts (which are included in the sale). This includes the original bridge/tailpiece, original neck pickup, and original electronics, as shown in the attached photo.

The catalogue value of the high quality upgrade hardware alone is $285.
    1) Hipshot direct replacement Rickenbacker Bass Bridge $145
    2) Hi gain neck pickup from PoTR $75
    3) 4 Control Wiring Harness w/Tone Circuit from PoTR. Push/Pull Pot operates tone circuit $65

Bump for a nice bass and a real good guy. Bass is in very good shape. If I was a Rickenbacker guy, I would snap this one up. For anyone who is wondering, shipping from Canada to the US is fast and safe, and there are no taxes, duty or brokerage charges.

All PMs replied and requested photos sent. Still available for $1,750 USD or CAD (plus shipping) That's right Canadians, even with our weak Loonie, I will sell at par! Includes all the noted upgrades and original parts.
