Candy Apple Red J bass with matching headstock, nitro finish and relic by MJT Finishes, assembled and setup by yours truly. 2-piece Alder body from Warmoth, maple/rosewood neck from Allparts (Japan). 9.1 pounds on my bathroom scale. DiMarzio Model J pickups, super fat and punchy. As close to a P tone as J pickups can get. Properly shielded so it is ULTRA quiet.

The frets show no wear. Neck is perfectly straight. Frets ends have been dressed/rounded, and the fingerboard has been rolled slightly. Feels great. Back of neck is not worn through to bare wood like some relics. The lacquer is nice and smooth and feels broken in. Tuners are Gotoh vintage reverse wind.

$895 shipped in the lower 48 states, $825 without pickups. Half the price of a Nash and twice as good (I know, I've owned one). No trades and no international shipping. No case is included, but it will be packed carefully.

No routing under the pickguard. If you go to the Warmoth site you can see how their bodies look.

Bump. Briefly considered keeping the neck but realized it would be a crime to split these up.
