For sale is a used Lakland Skyline 44-64 custom; smooth playing, looks and sounds great. I'm selling to help finance a M Bass I'm having built.

    -Lindy Fralin pickup
    -candy apple red
    -custom mother of pearl pickguard
    -8.95 lbs
    -1.5 inches at nut
-Designed and completed in Chicago, USA. Crafted in Indonesia.
    -SN #100913554

Note: My friend helped me purchase this bass off of Ebay during the summer. The previous owner installed active electronics and created a 9v battery sized route on the back of the body.
I'm old school and had no interest in an active pbass. I had my luthier replace the EMG pickup with a lindy fralin; we replaced the volume, tone controls and cut a beautiful mother of pearl pickguard to enhance the beauty of this instrument. Because of the previous owner's route job, my luthier used leftover mother of pearl to cover the route.

The bass is in good condition but has certainly been through its paces. Since I've owned the bass, it's been maintained, nurtured and loved!

***There are a few small dings/scratches on the headstock, back of neck, and body. Not noticeable from a distance, more if your doing a "comb over" or groping of the bass. Minor swirling on the back of body.

Unfortunately, I do not have a good camera, only my cellphone. I want to be honest about the condition of the instrument because my phone will not capture the tiny dings.

My camera phone really does not capture the beautiful candy apple red color and mother of pearl pickguard.

The bass is strung with D'addario Chromes .45-.100

This is a fantastic P in every way. Plays like a dream is very light and sounds incredible. You can't beat dealing with Ian, honest, friendly and a monster player.

I took that pic on the scale before the mods and the pre removal, so it's probably a few oz lighter now.
