  1. Hey all,

I've got a Michael Arnopol Crazy 88 for sale. Im asking $450 + shipping.

I love this cab but it needed a little repair work so I sent it back to Mike and then decided to jump for a Big E 45 instead (because GAS). Thus the cab is at Mike's in Chicago and will ship from there.

I've used it on and off the road for about 2 years so there are a few dings, but they are purely cosmetic. Also because the cab is composite (and therefore so light) sometimes the carrying handle will buzz. In my experience this only happens with electric bass not double bass.

    Info:
    4ohm
    400 watts
    10.75"w x 21.5"h x 13"d
Composite weight (only available with tweeter): 20lbs

    SO LIGHT!

I went over the cab and fixed any minor dings (there were no major ones) and re-applied the Duratex. Checked it out and it works perfectly. As far as the handle---if you're going to crank it---put a small piece of foam under the handle--no buzzing.

  4. ^ yup. Mike's on the case. I forgot to mention that I used a t-shirt to stop the buzz-- foam sounds great too though. Fixes that problem right away.

just to reiterate: the cab is in CHICAGO not Ann Arbor right now

I'm tempted. Really tempted. A pair of 88's would be sweet....but totally overkill for my gypsy jazz group.
