Spector fever has hit yet again. Consequently, I am forced to sell one of my favorite basses of all time. Forte-4 number 27.Build date 4/21/11 professionally refinished 10/16/12 in matte Tangerine. The Spector 9V circuit has been added. Prior to the refinish, the neck was shaved to a traditional C profile. The brass nut has been polished. Schaller strap buttons have been added. The tuning machines are Gotoh GB-7s. Sorry, I don't have the Dunlops strap buttons anymore. The 12th fret marker is a decal and can be removed with no residue. This has been my main bass for the last year and a half. It is in great condition. No fret wear. No dents. There are shiny spots in the matte finish were your forearm rests and next to the P pickup. Sound is pure Spector. All systems function as they should. This bass has been maintained in proper shape by Philtone guitars. For all intents and purpose, it's an NS-2 without the crown inlays. A Spector hard shell case is included, as is shipping in the continental US. Sorry, no trades. price is $2100 OBO

Unreal. I had this bass in my hands for about two weeks. It is easily one of the best playing Spector's I've ever seen. With the US 9V (Haz) it has growl that will peel the paint off your walls. These basses make Warwicks sound like a hollow body Epiphone with 20 year old flats.

I personally own and gig 2 refinished spectors from Joe. You can't go wrong dealing with this man. Now on to the bass....

This is basically a NS-2 with the upgraded preamp. Beyond that this is ONE OF A KIND. Great price and an incredible instrument.

    :D

Really gorgeous, truly one of a kind instrument, at an especially great price considering the scarcity and demand for the 9v US pre's...if it was refinished in a similar fashion to the Euro with the faux wenge neck, I'd have probably sprained my wrists sending you a PM to take it off of your hands ;)

    GLWTS! :bassist:

Thank you all for the kind words and support. A couple of you have asked, so I will answer here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bass. I'm only selling it to fund another Spector :).

This picture was taken before the refin. My good friend Sam reinstalled the HAZ after the finish work was done.
