DEMO OF THIS BASS CAN BE SEEN AND HEARD AT: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6h5FBnEduZ-X2pINFVsQkJjdzQ/edit

For other demos go to the designers website at www.gelbass.com While your there you can see this bass new for over $4600 (with the options I have).

I have an excellent condition Eminence RN5 including padded bag, separate neck bag, Hard 'golf' case and stand and I just replaced the original foil Realist with a new Lifeline PU. It sounds GREAT.

JUST REDUCED TO $2000 (YOU KNOW THIS IS A GREAT DEAL) BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND ANOTHER BASS I WISH TO BUY. If this doesn't sell in time to get the other bass I will take this off the market and continue to use it.

Bass is in excellent condition. only 3 small nicks in finish. If I get to my Luthiers before this is sold I will have him touch up those nicks.

This has been my 'backup' bass for the last year (I also have a 7/8 Shen) but I no longer need the portability that the Eminence provides.

    Hi,

It appears to be a high C, rather than a low B. Am I right?

Besides, do you still have the waist extension?
    Thanks~

How old and what are the strings?
What do you reckon the shipping would be coast to coast?

I bought the bass a year ago from someone who had bought it with the intention of learning DB (just like I'd like to learn Spanish), but it just sat at her house for several years, so I don't know the age. I believe the strings are the original Helicore Hybrids - which I have been very happy with - despite the fact that I play Thomastic Spiro mittels on my 7/8 Shen. They sound really good to me - especially since I upgraded to the Lifeline PU which everyone agrees is much better sounding. I haven't recorded anything yet with the new PU but could probably record and upload something soon.

I don't know what shipping would be but I will investigate.

    Thanks for your interest.

PS I am playing the bass tonight with a jazz trio - maybe I'll bring my little recorder and grab some samples.

Hey Rick, that really is a lovely instrument and I enjoyed your playing in the video. Its a great sound you get from it and I might check out the 4 string version for a practice bass after hearing how well it sounds. Enjoy your gig, cheers Geoff

I'd keep it too if it sounds that good! Hope you are enjoying the Phil Jones, Rick.

Might this beautiful bass still be on the market and available for purchase?
